Just a quick question i'd like to propose for those people getting into the fun of micros

I Have 2 catamarans

the setups are

- 480bb race motor coupled to a schultze slim 40be ESC and runs on 7.4 lipo (No watercooling)
- 2445 380long feigao brushless coupled to a 30 amp unknown brand (full watercooling to both)

I use two types of motors :

- an inrunner, a feigao B20 15 L (3.900 kv) with 2S lipo or 3S Life (1100 mAh). It's my number one setup, usable in almost every micro boat I have. With this motor, I cool the controller, but not the motor.
- outrunners, 35 g Mystery with 4.200 or 5.000 kv, with 2S Lipo on micro hydros / riggers, and a 50 g Turnigy with 3.400 kv on 3S Lipo. Both motor and controller are cooled.

Props are K29/31 and X430/432.

Controlers turnigy plush 30 or 40A.

i use mostly cheap china brushless motors like 2040 types with 3200 to 6900 kv. depending how much weight the hull can carry due to battery weight.

for example, i got a 39cm rigger from mica holc, the aycula, with a 5900kv 2040 from himodel with a 25 amp watercooled esc on 2s lipo.
.

in a mhz geco i like to use a 3200kv motor with a 3s lipo.

i have a micro mono 43cm long,
now i have a 2040 size motor with 3000kv and i run by 3s but is too small for this boat;
I'll change it with a 2445 size 3000kv.
